The Law Project relies on volunteers who have experience in non-litigation, transactional-oriented legal matters, such as corporate and tax law, real estate and intellectual property. While attorney training is available for specialized programs, generally TLP volunteers are already familiar with the relevant law.
TLP does provide malpractice insurance for its volunteers.
